adoption update: fingerprinting

Well, today was another milestone in our adoption process.  We went to the Blaine Police Department this morning to get fingerprinted for our background checks which was the last step in completing our application packet!

This weekend we plan to go over our entire packet with a fine-toothed comb to ensure that we completed everything accurately and Monday morning we’ll drop it off at Children’s Home Society.  

Next steps:  after our application is processed, we will receive an invitation to Pre-Adoptive Classes (PAC), which is a two day intensive preparation class.  After PAC, we will begin the home study process.
