adoption update: second home study visit

Greetings everyone!  We had our second home study visit with our social worker at Children’s Home Society and Family Services today.  It went well and we’re looking forward to our third visit together which will be this Friday in our home.  

Today we were given our CIS (Citizenship and Immigration Services) paperwork to begin filling out.  We understand that it takes approximately 90 business days for the government to process this paperwork, so we will begin filling it out immediately.
