court date: december 20

Okay so after 23 months of waiting, it seems things are FLYING by now.  By things I mean, we now have our first court date lined up!  Our social worker called Dan on Tuesday, October 19, to let us know that we had been assigned the date of December 20 to appear in court in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  We will be answering a short list of questions for the judge after getting to meet our future son.  We are so relieved and blessed to have this news.  

God cares so much for our little Ethiopian face, and all the orphans of the world who deserve to be placed in families.  He is working out the details so magnificently, if we were even able to be in control of this, we couldn’t have imagined the process working out any more smoothly than it has.  Each and every day seems to bring about new joy, surprise, and humbling blessings from our Heavenly Father.
