referral acceptance

I know you haven’t heard from me in a bit, so I thought I’d do a short post about accepting our wonderful referral!  Dan and I filled out the paperwork quickly and hand delivered it to our ultra cool social worker at Children’s Home Society and Family Services,  on September 21, 2010.  We couldn’t be more excited to meet our sweet little face who now has a name!  Tate (Ethiopian given name) Leverence.  When he is officially ours I will post information like his given name, but until then know that it is simply beautiful.  Everything about him is beautiful.  There were a few concerns that came up on his medical records, but since we’ve had a couple more tests run, things have turned out to be normal.  He is a bit on the small side, but catching up nicely.  Currently we are waiting on a call to let us know when our court date will be, then we can plan our first trip to Ethiopia.  We are hoping this is sometime between now and December.  We will keep you posted on all our news as we get more of it!  Thanks for loving us and for praying, now you can pray specifically for our little guy and pray for him by name!
