a photo album for Tate

Our agency suggests making a small 4x6 photo album for your child, to leave at the Care Center during the time you are apart.  Our first trip is December 14 - 22.  We will be on a flight from Minneapolis to Newark NJ, from Newark NJ to Frankfurt Germany, from Frankfurt Germany to Addis Ababa Ethiopia.  We couldn’t be more excited to have all those layovers because we got GREAT prices on the tickets.  I highly recommend Menno Travel in Columbia Heights MN.  

So I’m sitting at my dining room table having so much fun printing, and cutting out little pictures of all of the people who already love him to pieces.  I get to label them all “Grandma,” “Grandpa,” “Aunt,” “Uncle,”  and of course “Mommy & Daddy!”

It’s really a nice idea, because the nannies will show him the pictures while we are away from him.  Hopefully the images will sink deep within his heart and soul and he will grasp even just a tiny bit how much we love him and can’t wait to hold him in our arms!
