Orphan Sunday

I'm a bit late on this recap, but it still has to be done.

Our adoption and orphan care ministry, village127 was privileged to help brainstorm a video/live element that was used in our church services on November 4, 2012 - Orphan Sunday.

What is Orphan Sunday?  On Orphan Sunday, Christians stand for the orphan. We are a people called to defend the fatherless...to care for the child who has no family...to visit orphans in their distress.

It was awesome what happened.  It was amazing to be identified as one who has been "adopted" by Christ.  I'm humbled and grateful to be alive to this cause.  I pray the reason for it will someday cease to exist, but until then we carry on...
