adoption update: new social worker

Due to the way things are these days, our adoption agency had to lay off 15 people in the last few months.  We got a new social worker as a result.  We did not have to repeat any part of the process, but we did have him to our house yesterday morning to meet each other.

He is a really nice guy.  We miss Kendra, but Ben will be a good fit nonetheless.  

Nothing new to update you all on besides that.  We couldn’t be more excited to near the day of referral, which will still probably be in early November as our official wait time started 10/31 of 2008.  It’s a year out...still.  Hang in there with us though friends, we need your support!

Keep praying for that Mommy and Daddy and Baby somewhere in the streets of Ethiopia, as they will forever be bonded to our family very soon.
